Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis in the Liverpool, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

• Support the Store Manager to ensure the location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.
• Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Schedule mechanics/technicians’ work and manage outside orders.
• Ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain safety for team members and customers on site.

• Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services.
• Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians; stage vehicle repair/maintenance work.
• Drive sales initiatives and communicate with customers to assess needs and provide information on requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and strive to meet customer expectations in-store.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
