Adirondack Tire & Service is proud to be part of the Mavis Tire Family. We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Albany, NY area.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies, procedures, and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians; managing outside orders; ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining the safety of team members.

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. Key duties include driving customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance; directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians; communicating directly with customers to assess needs and provide repair information; and striving to meet customer expectations.

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess one of the following: 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
