Put your career into high gear with Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices! We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one or our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Amherst, NY area.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, they enforce policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics and technicians, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and safeguard the safety of team members.

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, and staging vehicle repair and maintenance work. They also drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information on requested or necessary repairs, and ensure customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience.

Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess either 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, 1 year in automotive repairs/maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
