Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - West Islip

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a dedicated person to join our team as a full‑time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $18.75 per hour based on a 40‑hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance.

• Sunday OFF
• Monday 8am‑6pm
• Tuesday 8am‑6pm
• Wednesday OFF
• Thursday 8am‑6pm
• Friday 8am‑6pm
• Saturday 9am‑1pm

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior – including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level, warning lights, and windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings; verify registration and license plate
• Check and add fluid levels; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed, including transportation to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance – including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and lot sweeping

• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

• Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Residence within a reasonable 30‑minute commute from the location
• At least six months of prior work or organizational experience
• Minimum age of 18 years
