We're looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Albany, NY area. Aboutthe Position of Automotive Mechanic
As Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Duties include undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks; completing state‑mandated inspections; changing oil and filters; checking fluids; replacing worn parts; and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Two years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Extensive personal tool set for performing undercar repairs.
Preferred qualifications:
- State inspection license(s).
- ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
Physical demands:
Mechanics must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Items weighing over 50 pounds are regularly lifted and/or moved.
