Location: Rensselaer
Amtrak - - Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and maintain locomotives and rolling stock equipment in accordance with FRA and Amtrak standards and guidelines;
Repair mechanical drive systems, wheels/wheel sets (trucks), suspension and other propulsion components;
Diagnose and test, repair air systems and air brake equipment;
Perform preventative maintenance of locomotives; operate lifting/hoisting equipment;
Calibrate pressure switches and valves in compliance with 49 CFR and Amtrak standards
