Caskinette Ford, one of the highest-volume Ford dealerships in the North Country, is growing our Service Department and looking for a Service Advisor to join our team.

Experienced Service Advisors are encouraged to apply, but dealership experience isn't the only way to get our attention. If you have strong customer service, sales and communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the drive to learn, you may be a great fit.

What You'll Do

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the primary connection between our customers and our technicians. You'll help customers understand what their vehicles need while making sure they have a great experience from arrival through vehicle pickup.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle needs
  • Schedule service appointments and create repair orders
  • Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance
  • Communicate technician recommendations clearly to customers
  • Obtain authorization for additional repairs
  • Keep customers informed about repair progress, costs and completion times
  • Recommend maintenance based on vehicle and manufacturer guidelines
  • Explain warranty coverage when applicable
  • Coordinate loaner vehicles when needed
  • Review completed repairs and invoices with customers
  • Work closely with technicians, Parts and Service Management
  • Build relationships that keep customers coming back to Caskinette Ford
Who We're Looking For

You don't need to check every box. We're looking for the right combination of customer service ability, automotive knowledge, communication skills and motivation.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Automotive knowledge or interest
  • Previous Service Advisor, Service Writer or Service Consultant experience is a plus
  • Ford dealership experience is a plus
  • Sales or other customer-facing experience may also be a great fit
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new technology
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Positive, energetic and professional attitude
  • Strong personal and professional integrity
  • Desire to build a long-term career
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus
