Founded in 1967, Keeler launched as a small Mercedes-Benz dealership with only SIX employees. Our dealership serves as the main resource for the highly popular and luxurious Mercedes-Benz vehicles across the Capital Region. In the early 1970’s the dealership grew as we expanded with BMW and Honda. The six-man operation flourished. Fast-forward to today, we have added Mini, Alfa-Romeo, the Keeler Quality Pre-Owned Center, Collision Center, a Full-Service Body Shop, and a Detail Department.

Even with all this growth, over 50 years later, we are still a family owned and operated business that has kept its core values right from the start.

At Keeler Motor Car Company, our philosophy is that the key to long term prosperity is our ability to develop long lasting relationships with not only our clients, but also with our staff. We employ over 300 people and have been in business for over 54 years.

Albany Medical Center, 15-LOVE, and the Saratoga Hospital Foundation. Every year, we promote Toys-for-Tots, Albany County Giving Tree, Regional Food Bank, and many local school activities. In the past we’ve even donated vehicles to local schools, and have helped students train and prepare for competitions like the vehicle Diagnostic Competition at Hudson Valley Community College.

Compensation

• Competitive salary plus commission
• Average earnings of $115,000+ annually once fully acclimated
• Strong customer-pay and maintenance opportunity base
• Manufacturer and dealer-supported training

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break
• Every 3rd Saturday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and understand their service needs
• Document concerns, prepare estimates, and communicate repair recommendations
• Provide updates on repair status and expected completion times
• Coordinate repairs with technicians and management
• Accurately manage repair orders and loaner agreements
• Review completed repairs and invoices with customers
• Perform vehicle walkarounds, inspections, and test drives
• Address customer concerns and provide excellent service
• Build lasting customer relationships and support customer retention
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Meet individual and department performance goals

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Automotive service or repair experience preferred
• Dealership, sales, hospitality, or consultative customer service experience a plus
• Experience with dealership software preferred
