Sales Lot Attendant

Ingersoll Auto of Pawling seeks a reliable Sales Lot Attendant to support our Transportation & Logistics team. You'll park, move, and organize new and pre-owned vehicles, maintain a clean, safe, and attractive sales lot, and assist the sales team by preparing vehicles for test drives and deliveries. This customer-facing role helps greet guests, direct them to sales staff, and ensure a positive first impression.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, safety-focused, able to work outdoors in all weather, and committed to friendly, professional service in a community-focused dealership.

Responsibilities

• Move, park, and organize vehicles on the sales lot and service areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly lot, including snow, debris, and clutter removal
• Prepare vehicles for test drives and customer deliveries (fueling, basic cleaning, staging)
• Perform initial visual checks for damage and report issues to management
• Assist in vehicle photography and display setup for sales promotions
• Greet arriving customers and direct them to appropriate sales or service staff
• Support vehicle flow between service, detailing, and sales departments
• Install window stickers, plates, and temporary tags as directed
• Follow all dealership, traffic, and safety procedures when operating vehicles
• Assist with inventory counts and key control processes
