. You control the workflow, keep technicians efficiently loaded, and ensure customers experience a smooth, timely service process from start to finish. When the shop is running at peak performance, it's because the dispatcher is driving the pace.

- Responsible for promoting exceptional levels of shop efficiency and productivity.
- Schedules shop work to create maximum productivity for all skilled level technicians.
- Responsible for doing all that is necessary for service customer satisfaction.
- Responsible to ensure proper warranty tech time and operation codes are properly used.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining effective communication between the shop and parts department employees.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
- Ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
- Review scheduled maintenance for all service equipment.
- Review with Service Manager a list of needed service department supplies, repairs, safety policies and daily, weekly workload.
- At least two years of automotive dealership service department experience, preferably as a service dispatcher, or Master/A level Technician, and preferably in a union shop.
- A steady job history and track record for success.
- Has fluent hands-on experience with DMS systems.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technicians and customers.
- Understands how to effectively load a service shop schedule.
- Can distribute work to technicians in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Team player that works well with service, parts, and other dealership employees.
- Can continually be responsive to the needs and concerns of the service manager and all service personnel.
- Must pass pre-hire background, DMV, and drug assessments.
