Depending on experience and skill level, Automotive Technicians will be responsible for:
Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical systems
Perform routine and preventative vehicle maintenance
Perform brake repairs, tire services, oil changes, inspections, and general repairs
Diagnose drivability and performance concerns
Use automotive diagnostic equipment and scan tools
Perform electrical and computer-related diagnostics
Complete manufacturer-recommended repairs and maintenance
Perform software updates and key programming
Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs
Accurately document repairs and complete repair orders
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle concerns and repairs
Work with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts
Follow manufacturer and dealership repair procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service bay
Maintain professional standards for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced technicians when appropriate

Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, or Service Technician
Dealership experience preferred but not required
ASE certifications are a plus
