Research Analyst​/Evaluator Level I – DoC E&C

Responsibilities:

• The Research Analyst/Evaluator Level I shall be responsible for assistingantidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) case and policy analysts in the conduct of AD/CVD investigations and administrative reviews, as well as any related inquiries, in the support of U.S. trade laws.
• Responsibilities will include:
  • Performing analysis and research and implementing results to assist AD/CVD case and policy analysts (Federal Employees) in the discharge of investigative responsibilities;
  • Assisting in the analysis and evaluation of data;
  • Attendance at meetings, briefings, and AD/CVD hearings;
  • Supporting E&C case and policy analysts in the preparation of recommendations for the disposition of assignments;
  • Responding to inquiries from internal and external customers, stakeholders and the public.

Required qualifications/skills:

• The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree in either business administration, international business, international relations, international affairs, international development, international political economy, law, or economics.
• While not mandatory, knowledge of foreign business practices and U. S. trade laws will be beneficial.
• Applicants must possess solid quantitative analysis and research skills, as well as an ability to write well and work professionally in a team environment.
