Job Purpose:

You’ll work on all parts of lifecycle operations, encompassing email, push, pre‑roll and more: managing the lifecycle calendar to optimal contact frequency, preparing email templates that hero our shows, segmenting to the right audience, continually applying best practices and suggesting new tests and optimisations to run, and assisting with regular reporting on lifecycle initiatives. The right person for this role is very comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, able to multi‑task and prioritise while maintaining an obsessive level of attention to detail.

S/he should have a strong understanding of direct marketing techniques such as email or push, knowing how to maintain healthy deliverability, what tactics will boost engagement, and an innate desire to deep‑dive into everything from lifecycle journey building, to personalization engines to sophisticated user segmentation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle calendar for all channels (email marketing, push, pre‑roll) globally for Brit Box, coordinating with local content and marketing priorities
  • Serve as the Lifecycle team’s liaison across departments (Creative, Editorial, etc.), owning regular meetings and setting agendas
  • Assist with all aspects of email creation: build templates, brief copy and creative assets, and obtain feedback and signoff
  • Ensure all campaigns are send‑ready by verifying links, images, and rendering on desktop and mobile across major email clients
  • Monitor existing lifecycle and transactional emails, update current information, and develop new campaigns as needed
  • Support reporting and insights efforts by identifying trends and opportunities to boost performance
  • Maintain deep understanding of customer data within the email platform, including sources and application for segmentation and personalization
  • Champion email best practices by recommending new ideas and functionality, and ensure email lists remain healthy
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN‑SPAM, CASL) in all regions worked on
  • Maintain an in‑depth understanding of the customer lifecycle across all platforms, products, and regions to influence the customer journey effectively
Skills And Personal Attributes

  • Excellent communicator; able to present insights clearly, concisely, and in actionable formats for varied audiences
Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in digital and email marketing
  • Strong knowledge of email fundamentals including opt‑in legislation, segmentation, list and data management, conversion KPIs, and deliverability
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS principles (coding not required)
  • Experience with mid‑to‑enterprise level email marketing platforms preferred, such as Braze, Blue Shift, Bronto, Klaviyo, Send Grid, or Salesforce

Salary Range: $60–65K base…
