About the Role:

As a Project Manager at Platter, you’ll be the primary driver of success for our Ad Hoc and Maintenance retainer clients. You’ll oversee client relationships, timelines, and deliverables—bridging the gap between clients and our internal teams to ensure every engagement is delivered on time, on budget, and exceeds expectations. You’ll also partner with Business Analysts and Designers to optimize processes and elevate our service offerings.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Client Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact for Ad Hoc and Maintenance retainer clients
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction
• Proactively surface risks, updates, and opportunities for upsell or optimization

Project Management

• Define, plan, and manage project timelines, deliverables, and scope for multiple concurrent clients
• Translate client goals into clear project plans, work breakdowns, and resource allocations
• Communicate scope, timelines, and technical requirements to both clients and internal teams
• Identify and mitigate scope changes or timeline risks through proactive planning

Meeting Coordination

• Schedule and lead bi-weekly (or as-needed) touch-base meetings with clients to provide updates and gather feedback
• Document and distribute meeting agendas, key takeaways, and action items
• Ensure follow-up tasks are tracked and completed on schedule
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Designers, Developers, and QA to ensure project requirements are understood and met
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment to deliver seamless client experiences
• Continuously refine and improve internal processes, leveraging retrospectives and client feedback

About You:

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the e-commerce or Shopify ecosystem
• Proven track record servicing Ad Hoc and Maintenance retainer clients
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Notion, or similar
• Comfort working in a fully remote, cross-functional team environment

Preferred

Skills:

• Familiarity with the Shopify platform and e-commerce best practices
• Technical understanding of web development processes and terminology
• Experience in an agency or professional services environment
• Ability to write user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for development and design teams
