Business Development Manager, AI Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our AI Partnerships Team  this role you will play a crucial role in driving global partnerships to support our cutting‑edge AI products.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving partnerships from term sheet negotiations through product launches, managing relationships, and growing, measuring, and optimizing partnership success.

• Defining, negotiating, and closing high‑impact partnerships and licensing agreements for Meta's AI products and technologies
• Managing relationships with partners, identifying new opportunities, and growing partnership success
• Working closely with product and engineering teams to define priorities and identify key opportunities
• Managing external and internal cross‑functional teams when integrating products or technologies with external partners
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI industry
• Working cross‑functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry trends
• Providing regular reports and updates on partnership activity and performance

• 12+ years of work experience including in business development, strategy or related fields
• Experience leading complex cross‑functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements
• Experience developing and driving business strategies and initiatives with executive stakeholders
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
• Experience developing working relationships inside and outside an immediate team or partner organization
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of the AI ecosystem and competitive landscape including the technology, what large and small companies are doing, industry alliances, and broader government and regulatory positions
• Experience with licensing and AI products and technologies such as AI models, use‑cases, and systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or related field

Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or advanced technical degree such as MSCS and MSEE
• Experience managing and driving AI initiatives from inception to launch successfully with partners
• Experience in content and data licensing deals
• Experience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insights
• Experience in a fast moving and highly ambiguous start‑up environment
• Experience presenting to, communicating, and influencing at all levels of an organization
