ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are seeking a driven Senior PPA Advisor to join our team in Houston or New York
. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial professional with deep experience in renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or related energy contracts whoisexcited about building and expanding a robust pipeline of corporate opportunities.
You will work closely with STX’s trading, origination, sustainability advisory, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive strategic growth with corporate clients.
The role will also be responsible for supporting STX's emerging renewable power offerings to corporate clients in the US, including BESS, renewable power hedges (e.g., TB2) and EAC granularity solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs (corporate and utility-scale) and related long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients alongside the Strive corporate accounts team—understanding sustainability goals, energy needs, risk tolerance, and financial priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, risk, legal, and sustainability advisory teams to design integrated client solutions that align with broader environmental commodity strategies.
- Conduct market and policy analysis to inform product development, client recommendations, and strategic positioning.
- Help shape STX's renewable power offering to corporate clients in the US, including BESS and other emerging innovations.
- Represent STX Group at industry events, client meetings, and strategic forums to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the organization.
- 6–10 years of experience in renewable energy PPAs, energy markets, structured sales, or energy/commodity origination.
- Proven track record of developing and closing PPA transactions or complex structured energy deals.
- Strong understanding of US power markets, renewable energy technologies, and corporate decarbonization challenges.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building pipelines, identifying new market opportunities, and growing STX’s role as a leader in renewable power.
