Capital Formation Specialists support fund and investment teams by driving capital raising initiatives, cultivating investor relationships, and coordinating fundraising efforts
. The role emphasizes strategic outreach, investor communications, and deal pipeline support to ensure successful capital formation.
These professionals work closely with fund managers, investor relations teams, and strategy groups to maximize investor engagement and fund growth
.
Support fundraising initiatives across private equity, venture capital, private credit, and alternative investment funds
Assist in identifying and targeting potential investors, including institutional and high-net-worth clients
Prepare and update marketing materials, pitch decks, and investor presentations
Coordinate meetings, calls, and events with prospective and existing investors
Track investor engagement, commitments, and capital deployment status
Maintain databases and CRM systems for investor and fundraising data
Conduct market research to support fundraising strategies and outreach campaigns
Monitor fundraising performance and provide analytical insights to leadership
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth capital onboarding
Prepare reports and summaries for senior management on capital formation activities
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Strong interest in capital raising, investor relations, and fund strategy
Understanding of private capital markets, fund structures, and investment vehicles
Experience or coursework in fundraising, investor relations, or financial analysis (preferred but not required)
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms
Ability to manage multiple investor relationships and reporting timelines
