Our client, a leading asset manager with over $200b in AUM, is seeking a driven, detail-focused, and intellectually curious professional to join the firm’s Client team as an Associate. This role will work closely with senior leadership and the broader consultant-facing group to support business development and ongoing relationship management efforts. The organization operates with a streamlined, collaborative structure that encourages initiative, original thinking, and meaningful contribution.
The position is a full-time role and is in-office on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support to senior leadership and the consultant-focused team across relationship management and growth initiatives
- Monitor, evaluate, and analyze consultant interactions, activity pipelines, and outcomes to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement
- Coordinate and support meetings, diligence sessions, presentations, and related events to ensure a polished and professional experience
- Perform in-depth research across databases and third-party platforms to identify potential engagement and distribution opportunities
- Develop high-quality presentations, marketing collateral, and written materials that clearly articulate the firm’s strategies, performance, and platform capabilities
- Maintain awareness of market developments, peer activity, and regulatory considerations affecting consultants and the broader asset management landscape
- Partner cross-functionally with investment teams, research professionals, and sales and product stakeholders to deliver customized insights and solutions to consultant audiences
- Undergraduate degree required, with approximately two to four years of relevant professional experience in a financial, analytical, or client-facing environment (such as advisory, consulting, capital markets, investor relations, or comparable post-graduate roles)
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, consultant, or investment management is strongly preferred
- Self-directed, highly organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, deadline-driven setting; demonstrated strength in time management, organization, and project execution
- Exceptional communication capabilities across written, verbal, and presentation formats
- Strong technical aptitude, including advanced proficiency in core productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM platforms, consultant databases, and market intelligence systems is advantageous
- Applicable securities licenses (or the willingness and eligibility to obtain required registrations within a defined onboarding period)
