The Ecosystem Development Manager is responsible for designing, building, and managing the firm’s ecosystem of strategic partners, investment platforms, and collaborative initiatives in private markets. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with external stakeholders, creating new partnership opportunities, and driving initiatives that enhance deal flow, operational efficiency, and market intelligence.
The position requires close collaboration with investment teams, business development, and operations to ensure seamless integration of partners and alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with strategic partners, platforms, and service providers in private markets
- Build and manage an ecosystem strategy that supports investment origination, operational efficiency, and client engagement
- Lead initiatives to integrate external partners into the firm’s workflows and investment processes
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, commercial terms, and collaboration structures
- Monitor ecosystem performance and impact on deal flow, investments, and operational outcomes
- Track industry trends, emerging platforms, and innovative solutions to inform ecosystem strategy
- Collaborate with investment, product, and business development teams to align partner initiatives with firm goals
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for senior leadership on ecosystem development and strategic opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in ecosystem development, business development, or strategic partnerships within private markets or investment platforms
- Strong understanding of private market investing, alternative assets, and capital markets
- Proven relationship management, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to track ecosystem performance and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or partnership management tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Interest in private markets, investment strategy, and building scalable partner networks
