Homeland has partnered with a leading technology platform in the home and community-based care space to hire a Manager, Expansion Sales
, to join the team. In this role, you will lead a team of Account Managers focused on growing revenue within an existing client base through strategic cross-sell and upsell initiatives.

The Manager, Expansion Sales is accountable for ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly revenue goals. This role is both strategic and hands-on. As Manager, Expansion Sales
, you will coach and develop the Account Management team, refine expansion sales strategies, strengthen product knowledge, and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Implementation teams to drive strong client outcomes and long-term growth.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team of Account Managers focused on expansion revenue
  • Develop and execute effective cross-sell and upsell strategies across a portfolio of add-on products
  • Monitor pipeline health, performance metrics, and revenue forecasts to ensure consistent target attainment
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to deliver targeted training on product knowledge and expansion selling best practices
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to align solutions with customer needs and market demand
  • Establish scalable processes, tools, and best practices to drive operational excellence within Account Management
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasting and performance reporting to the VP of Sales
  • Motivate and mentor team members to exceed individual and team performance goals
  • Champion customer success and retention by positioning Account Managers as trusted, strategic partners
  • Gather and share customer insights to inform product roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategy
  • Travel to sales-related events as needed (10–25%, including overnight travel)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing Account Management teams in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proven track record of expanding client value through add-on solutions tied to a core technology platform
  • Strong knowledge of modern sales methodologies and best practices
  • Experience upselling to first-time technology buyers
  • Empathy and humility when engaging with customers, particularly in the homecare industry
  • Bonus: experience selling into healthcare or homecare markets
  • Willingness to explore and responsibly adopt AI tools to enhance productivity and drive innovation
Additional Information

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week onsite at the New York City headquarters (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.).

This role offers a base salary of $135,000–$150,000, with on-target earnings of $270,000–$300,000 through a 50/50 split.
