We’re partnering with a growing, commercial-stage biopharma organization that is scaling its people infrastructure alongside an expanding field organization. This is an opportunity for an HR Business Partner who enjoys being close to the business and operating in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
This role offers meaningful exposure to senior commercial leaders, hands-on ownership of employee relations, and the chance to support growth, change, and execution across a distributed sales organization. It’s ideal for an HRBP who wants real responsibility, not just advisory distance.
THE ROLEThe HR Business Partner will support a national, field-based commercial organization while partnering closely with Sales leadership, Commercial Operations, and corporate teams. This individual will be embedded in the business and play a key role across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations and performance management.
Depending on experience, this role will report to either a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner or directly to the VP of HR. The position is hybrid and based in New York City, with regular in-office collaboration required.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS- 1–5 years of HR Business Partner experience
- Pharmaceutical or biotech experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting field-based or remote sales teams is highly preferred
- Background in commercial-stage organizations with products on the market is ideal
- Strong employee relations experience, including: performance improvement plans, terminations, leave of absence management, ADA accommodations, and workplace investigations
- Comfortable working onsite in NYC, three days per week
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
