Senior Recruitment Consultant / Principal Consultant Financial Systems & Technology – New York The Opportunity

A high-growth, international recruitment firm is expanding its New York office and is looking to hire experienced 360 recruiters who want to build something meaningful in the US market.

The Role

This is a full-desk (360) recruitment role
, covering both business development and delivery.

Depending on experience, the hire may join as a Senior Consultant, Principal, or Billing Manager
.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and deepening client relationships within specialist markets
  • Winning new business through consultative, value-led conversations
  • Managing full recruitment processes from intake to placement
  • Cross-selling across multiple verticals and geographies
  • Mentoring juniors (where applicable) and contributing to team growth

Who They’re Looking For

The ideal profile:

  • 2–6 years’ recruitment experience (agency side)
  • Strong 360 background in tech, finance, or adjacent markets
  • A consistent or upward billing trajectory
  • Comfortable with autonomy and accountability
  • Motivated by long‑term outcomes, not just short‑term commission

They are particularly interested in people who:

  • Are hungry, self‑aware, and commercially sharp

Clear progression pathways with real earning upside:

  • Senior Consultant: $60–80k base
  • Principal Consultant: $80–100k base (after $200k billed in 6 months)
