Travel Partnerships and AdvertisingTravel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners, including hotels, vacation rentals, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and more, deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply and our leading advertising and travel media network.
As part of Expedia Group’s Global Car Partnerships team, you’ll join a data‑driven, growth‑obsessed group focused on creating value for travelers and partners through high‑impact commercial relationships. We operate in a fast‑moving, global environment, using data, experimentation and deep partner collaboration to improve traveler experiences and drive sustainable growth across our car rental ecosystem.
In this role, you will:- Take end‑to‑end commercial ownership of strategic car rental partnerships, accountable for performance, growth and partner success.
- Proactively identify opportunities to drive revenue, improve traveler experience, and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
- Use data, analytics and market insight to shape strategy, prioritise actions and turn insight into measurable commercial impact.
- Lead commercial conversations including business reviews, performance optimisation discussions, and negotiations that deliver mutual value.
- Align partner objectives with Expedia Group’s strategy, ensuring a clear partnership approach that creates long‑term value for the business, travelers and partners.
- Translate strategy into execution by shaping joint initiatives across product, supply, marketing and technology.
- Act as the single point of accountability for your partners internally, influencing product, finance, legal and operations teams to deliver outcomes.
- Own performance metrics and forecasts, spotting risks and opportunities early and taking decisive, data‑informed action.
- Operate with a strong sense of ownership, focusing on outcomes over activity, and continuously looking for ways to make things better, faster, and smarter.
- Proven experience in commercial, partnerships, account management or business development roles within travel, mobility, technology, or other fast‑paced industries.
- Demonstrated track record of owning complex accounts or partnerships and delivering sustained growth.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience analysing performance, building forecasts, and developing business cases.
- Proactive, highly driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and a bias for action.
- Ability to think strategically while being comfortable diving into details and driving execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior external partners and cross‑functional internal teams.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Tech‑ and data‑savvy, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
- Experience working directly with car rental, mobility, or broader travel industry partners.
- Background managing global or multi‑market partnerships in a matrixed organisation.
