About the Role
K. Hovnanian Companies is seeking a highly skilled analytical Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst to play a critical, highly visible role in shaping and advancing our supply chain planning function. This is a senior‑level, hands‑on position designed for an experienced planning professional who thrives in complex environments, owns outcomes end‑to‑end, and enjoys turning data into action.
In this role, you will lead forecasting, inventory planning, reporting, and system‑driven initiatives across divisions and at a national level. You will partner closely with Sourcing, Logistics, and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve inventory productivity, service levels, cost efficiency, and overall planning maturity.
What You’ll Do- Lead the development, refinement, and governance of product forecasts at both division and national levels to inform purchasing and replenishment decisions
- Own and continuously improve inventory planning strategies to proactively manage warehouse levels and trigger purchasing actions
- Oversee daily JD Edwards activity, including purchase order execution, inventory allocations, and reconciliations
- Design and interpret inventory simulations to support optimal sourcing, replenishment, and stocking strategies
- Develop and enhance analytical tools to forecast, track, and support savings initiatives
- Produce, standardize, and evolve weekly and monthly reporting aligned to business objectives
- Lead forecast validation and opportunity reviews with cross‑functional teams to drive alignment and accountability
- Partner strategically with Sourcing and Logistics to optimize MOQs, container utilization, and landed cost strategies
- Own direct vendor planning responsibilities for assigned product categories, including forecasting, ordering, and stockout prevention
- Serve as a functional lead in demand planning software implementations and system enhancements
- Design and automate advanced dashboards, reports, and macro‑enabled tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Represent the Supply Chain Planning function in enterprise initiatives and process redesign workshops
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred - 3–5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, inventory management, or related analytical roles
- Demonstrated ability to independently own complex analytical and planning responsibilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: VBA, simulation, and automation experience strongly preferred
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar supply chain planning systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while driving structure, clarity, and results

Exposure to system implementations, advanced analytics, vendor management, and enterprise initiatives provides strong growth and career‑path opportunities.
Hourly rate between $85,000 – $100,000 plus bonus potential and extensive benefits—including medical/dental/vision coverage, discounts on mortgages and home appliances, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
