Optimum Sports is the dedicated sports marketing agency within OMG. Unlike traditional sports marketing agencies, Optimum Sports operates in both the Sports Sponsorship and Sports Media landscapes. The Associate Director reports directly to the Director within a vertical team structure. He/she will have client facing responsibilities and will scale our sponsorship measurement business while owning product rate card and pipeline.
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Associate Director, Sponsorship Business Development to join our team and lead development and operations of our in-house sponsorship measurement solution. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven individual with strong project management, sales and media expertise and a keen eye for process improvement, operational efficiency and organization.
Responsibilities- Build and manage a strong pipeline focused on long-term, strategic sponsorship measurement partnerships
- Drive new revenue while expanding existing accounts to generate recurring growth
- Own the full business development lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, proposal development, negotiation, and onboarding
- Translate complex insights into compelling, outcome-focused value propositions
- Representing the company in client meetings, executive presentations, and industry events
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery and client success
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking, forecasting, and revenue reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- 5+ years of experience in business development, consulting, insights or brand strategy
- Proven success sourcing, pitching, and closing new business opportunities
- Strong understanding of the sponsorship, media, and brand marketing ecosystem
- Experience with pitch development and solution selling
- Established network across brands and sports & entertainment rights holders
- Highly organized, self-starter with strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms
- Manages junior staff (at any point 1-3 personnel) and is involved with evaluation of existing staff and consideration of potential employees
- Prior experience working with logo detection data
- Understanding of the sports sponsorship measurement marketplace
- Experience managing an internal rate card and / or pricing model
$70,000—$125,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
