Role OverviewThe Emerging Companies Analyst supports teams that work closely with startups and fast-growing private companies
, often at the intersection of venture capital, corporate development, innovation strategy, and early-stage finance
. Analysts evaluate young businesses, analyze markets, and support strategic, investment, or partnership decisions involving emerging companies.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in startups, entrepreneurship, venture investing, innovation advisory, or growth strategy

Identify and evaluate emerging companies across technology, consumer, healthcare, and other growth sectors
Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis for early-stage businesses
Support diligence efforts, including product evaluation, traction analysis, and business model assessment
Assist with financial modeling, unit economics analysis, and scenario planning for young companies
Develop insights on emerging trends, technologies, and founder ecosystems
Support preparation of internal reports, investment briefs, or strategic memos
Track performance metrics and milestones for emerging company portfolios or pipelines
Participate in founder meetings, demo days, pitch events, and ecosystem networking
Assist with fundraising, partnership analysis, and stakeholder communications as needed
Ideal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or another analytical field
Strong interest in startups, emerging technologies, and early-stage business models
Internship or early-career experience in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, startups, or innovation roles is a plus
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication abilities
Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Enthusiasm for engaging with founders and operators
