WhatYou Will Do
- Manage logistics, with support from the Client Development Manager, for events such as client dinners, client presentations, sponsor ships, trainings, and similar gatherings.
- Working closely with the Client Development Manager, manage and oversee Goodwin’s participation in industry sponsor ships. Collaborate with conference organisers to handle logistics and maximise the benefits associated with the firm’s involvement.
- Track and process Life Sciences requests for industry events, conferences, and related engagements.
- Take the lead on all aspects of webinar planning, from conceptualisation and scheduling to execution and follow‑up.
- Utilise Dynamics to track event, guest lists, and attendee information, ensuring accurate reporting and data management.
- Work closely with the Client Development Manager to monitor and evaluate event effectiveness, tracking metrics and ROI, and providing post‑event analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate with team to craft customised responses to pitches, RFPs/RFIs, and other marketing collateral for business opportunities and client meetings. Ensure that practice group/industry descriptions, web content, matter lists, case studies, and other marketing materials are compelling and up‑to‑date.
- Help maintain and enhance key business development assets across life sciences and healthcare practices, including web content, client decks, brochures, partner bios, and internal databases.
- Monitor and analyse activity with key clients and prospects. Evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives across the firm and recommend strategies to enhance their impact.
- Work closely with the LS CD Team and Marketing Team to secure strategic accolades and rankings that elevate our firm’s reputation.
- BA, BS, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of marketing or business development experience in a law firm, professional services organisation, or corporate environment.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional client service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to think objectively.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exercise sound judgement in handling sensitive and confidential information, and be comfortable articulating where you need help.
- Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of people and projects in a collective and collaborative manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritising assignments effectively.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and quickly establish trust.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM tools and databases is a plus.
