THE JOB:

At New York New York Hotel and Casino, exceptional guest experiences are powered by world-class operations behind the scenes. We’re seeking a Facilities Manager with strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands‑on approach to oversee building operations and engineering teams across a large‑scale, high‑energy resort environment. If you’re motivated by ownership, collaboration, and maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facilities at one of Las Vegas’s premier destinations, this could be your next great opportunity!

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Directly oversee all engineering operations and maintenance staff, including scheduling, setting priorities and goals, hiring, training, performance feedback, promotions, and employee engagement
  • Ensure all facilities and engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and building codes, while maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Manage and oversee preventative maintenance programs, including scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and repair or replacement of equipment
  • Monitor utility usage and costs, maintaining required logs and ensuring efficient consumption
  • Manage inventory levels and oversee purchasing of parts, tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with property standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of prior relevant experience as a manager or related technical education and/or experience
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
