The Finance System Analyst mainly programs, tests, debugs, and maintains new applications or enhancements to existing applications (mainly Strata, but other applications may apply).

Job Duties:

Builds/develops software applications that support internal or external business functions. Recommends technical solutions to complex business problems. Tests component functionality, monitors production application performance, and troubleshoots and resolves issues. Develops and maintains internal and end user documentation. May provide technical assistance during application implementation or maintenance. Will also provide data support and data management functions within the finance department. This includes the collection, verification, retrieval, analysis, interpretation and distribution of data.

Provide data governance to bridge the financial and clinical definitions between Bassett information systems in order to provide uniform analytical solutions. Working closely with the Director Financial Planning & Analysis, Manager Financial Planning & Analysis and Optum. This role may create reports and dashboards that provides key data to all levels of management. Position will also be collaborative team member for developing and mentoring talent in utilizing financial applications.

• Tests component functionality, monitors production application performance, and troubleshoots and resolves issues.
• Integral partner is the set-up and maintenance of all Strata modules.
• Works as a team player support all of Finance with data extraction and manipulation.
• Recommends technical solutions to complex business problems.
• Must gain a working knowledge of UKG, EPIC & Qlik in order to understand and validate the data interfaced to Strata.
• Develops and maintains internal and end user documentation and training material,
• Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
• Handles the most complex issues.
• Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, within tight time deadlines.
• Decision Support functions including but not limited to financial analysis and reporting, cost accounting and managerial finance, units of service and productivity reporting/monitoring.
• Develops and mentors talent utilizing innovative training concepts and problem-solving techniques.

• Data governance to bridge system definitions and analytic solutions

• 4 Year / Bachelor2 s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Statistics or combination of relevant experience and education. Experience may be considered in lieu of education, required

• Minimum 1 year of data manipulation and data management experience, required
• Minimum 2 years of intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills, required
• Minimum 1 year of operational experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Decision Support Software experience specifically around training, preferred
• Minimum 1 year knowledge of Strata and/or Infor software, preferred
