The Product Manager/Sr Product Manager is a self-starter, a visible organizational leader, a hands‑on problem solver, and a relationship builder. The product manager continuously builds intimate corporate knowledge that spans all teams and functions within the company as well as a deep understanding of the evolving competitive landscape. The role oversees product management for its respective area of focus.
The product manager has the ability to develop a product vision and strategy and build an executional product roadmap based on it. They have a clear understanding of the product evolution and the user experience to develop feature prioritization and manage the backlog. They will author stories and participate in the agile product development cycle.
This role will focus on the Advisor user experience, leading the end‑to‑end revamp of advisor engagement across both web and mobile platforms. The individual will own the advisor experience holistically, driving the creation of AI‑forward features that enhance usability, efficiency, and value.
This position is a hybrid position out of our New York City office.
What You’ll Do:- Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer across all initiatives. Gather and synthesize customer needs and pain points through both quantitative data (and qualitative insights.
- Product Vision &
Roadmap:
Define and manage the product vision and strategy. Leverage insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and performance metrics to prioritize and shape the product roadmap. Lead quarterly and annual planning, ensuring clear goal‑setting and metric tracking aligned with business objectives. - Delivery Excellence: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure the timely and high‑quality delivery of product features. Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, driving a culture of continuous improvement and effective iteration.
- Product Evangelism: Serve as the primary advocate for your product internally and externally. Lead product rollouts, including developing training materials, documentation, and leading both virtual and in‑person product demonstrations. Represent the product vision and benefits in meetings, presentations, and customer‑facing engagements.
- AI‑Enablement: Drive the integration of AI‑driven solutions within your product, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy. Ensure the responsible use of AI technologies with a focus on transparency, ethics, and human‑centered design.
- Metrics & Data‑Driven Decisions: Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for your product. Build processes to track, analyze, and review data to inform ongoing product development, prioritization of new features, and customer experience improvements.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Lead cross‑functional teams by effectively coordinating between stakeholders across departments, such as sales, marketing, legal, and customer support. Drive alignment on priorities and ensure that feedback is gathered pre‑ and post‑development to drive continuous improvement.
- 5‑10 years of relevant experience as an Agile Product Manager.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading and motivating product teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for scalable SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, ethical AI practices, and human‑in‑the‑loop design principles.
- Familiarity with OKR process and agile development methodologies.
The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000. Base salary may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
