Senior Client Development Analyst (Confidential Investment Management Firm)

A leading, confidential investment management firm is hiring a Senior Client Development Analyst to support growth efforts by turning market research and intelligence into qualified opportunities. This role sits between sourcing, qualification, and strategy, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to develop outreach narratives, build prospect materials, and improve the effectiveness of business development initiatives.

• Generate top-of-funnel opportunities through deep market research and activation of an established client/community network.
• Track market signals such as fundraising rounds, M&A activity, IPOs, and liquidity events to identify timely prospects.
• Use tools like Pitch Book, Salesforce, Wealth
  
  X, and SEC filings to surface insights and strengthen BD initiatives.
• Review prospect financial and ownership materials (e.g., balance sheets, performance reports, estate maps, holding summaries) and translate findings into actionable next steps.
• Partner with senior client‑facing leaders to craft tailored narratives and develop bespoke materials that align the firm’s platform to prospect needs.
• Conduct ROI analysis on sales/marketing initiatives to optimize what’s working and improve performance over time.
• Maintain and enhance a centralized library of BD resources (firm overviews, service offering decks, family office profiles, etc.).

• 2+ years of experience within investment management.
• Strong ownership mindset with evidence of leadership/initiative.
