Business Manager

Overview

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Business Manager for its New York, New York location.

• Work on and contribute to operational change projects and manage the full project lifecycle from scope definition to post‑implementation evaluation.
• Gather project requirements, provide metrics to management, and analyze business expectations to determine involvement, resources, and timelines.
• Use Visio, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA to prepare detailed project plans and assess critical needs for banking business operations.
• Stay abreast of industry and regulatory updates that may impact projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and obtain approvals for material changes.
• Liaise between Technology and Business, conduct impact analysis, assess risks, and propose solutions.
• Review functional and technical requirement documents, provide feedback, propose corrections, and drive milestone completion.
• Apply Agile methods to mitigate risk, host working group sessions with stakeholders, and facilitate intergroup meetings.
• Develop key performance indicators and monitoring mechanisms for post‑implementation results and change impacts.
• Prepare status decks and action trackers for project progress monitoring and issue resolution.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field.
• 6 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in roles such as Business Manager, Senior Product Owner, Project Manager, Change Management Manager, Program Manager, Marketing Manager, or Operations Specialist within a global financial services institution.
• Experience in change and project management across various jurisdictions and regions.
• Expertise in stakeholder identification, analysis, and management.
• Proficiency in gathering project requirements and providing metrics to management.
• Strong skills in project planning, scope definition, risk control, and adverse impact mitigation.
• Familiarity with banking business operations, including processes, systems, applications, networks, and product offerings.
• Experience with Agile, communication, and change management methodologies.
• Competence with Visio, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.

• Wage Range: $186,800 to $190,000.
