A hedge fund in the New York City area is looking to hire a Broker Data Associate.

The Data Associate supports the organization's relationships with external research and data providers by:
- Managing data and research feed relationships with third‑party brokers.
- Evaluating data offerings and identifying partnership expansion opportunities.
- Coordinating data‑related initiatives between external providers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and scale relationships with new and existing data providers.
- Serve as the primary contact for day‑to‑day data inquiries.
- Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding of new datasets, collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and other teams.
- Use industry insights to understand the broader data landscape and market trends.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Financial industry background required; experience on the provider/sell‑side is a plus.
- Familiarity with data sourcing and data management preferred.
