Business Development Manager - industry teams​/finance; AM Law Firm

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. One of our clients is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the firm's business development team.

• Locations: NYC
• Hybrid: 3-4 days a week onsite

MUST HAVE AM LAW experience

• Collaborate with practice and industry leaders to create and implement strategic business development plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Support initiatives in banking, payments, fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital assets.
• Conduct industry research, monitor market trends, and provide insights to guide client development strategies.
• Assist attorneys in identifying cross-selling opportunities and preparing for client meetings and industry events.
• Work with marketing teams to develop thought leadership content, coordinate webinars, and support recognition efforts within the financial sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of business development or marketing experience within an AM Law Firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulation, fintech, or digital asset markets preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment several days each week.
• Proven skills in strategic planning, client pitch development, and cross-functional collaboration.
