Position OverviewFund Product Specialists serve as subject-matter experts for investment fund products, acting as a bridge between investment teams, operations, sales, compliance, and clients. The role focuses on ensuring fund products are well-structured, clearly communicated, operationally sound, and aligned with investor and business needs.
This position blends product management, market knowledge, operational understanding, and stakeholder communication across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Own and support assigned fund products across their full lifecycle, from development and launch through ongoing management and enhancements
- Partner with investment, operations, legal, and compliance teams to support product design, positioning, and implementation
- Develop and maintain fund product materials, including fact sheets, pitch decks, offering summaries, and internal documentation
- Serve as a product expert for internal stakeholders, including sales, client service, and distribution teams
- Support responses to investor inquiries, RFPs, and due diligence requests related to fund products
- Monitor product performance, flows, and client feedback to inform enhancements and strategy
- Coordinate product updates related to strategy changes, fees, benchmarks, or disclosures
- Ensure product information is accurate and consistent across systems, reporting, and marketing materials
- Track competitive landscape and market trends relevant to assigned products
- Assist with product governance, approvals, and ongoing reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong understanding of investment products, fund structures, and asset management business models
- Experience or exposure to product management, fund operations, client service, or investment support roles (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize complex investment concepts into clear, client-friendly messaging
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM, reporting, or product management tools is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- Comfort interacting with senior stakeholders and client-facing teams
- Strong interest in investment products, markets, and asset management strategy
