Lead and build the product for a new coffee brand from the ground upWe re launching a standalone business under the Trade Coffee umbrella. Different strategy. Different customer promise. Different experience. You ll have the resources and infrastructure of an established company without the constraints of legacy systems or existing business models. As VP of Product, you ll build from the ground up while leveraging Trade s extraordinary assets: hundreds of thousands of engaged customers, deep coffee expertise, relationships with America #s best roasters, proven personalization technology, and operational infrastructure that works.
Aboutthe Role
You are the founding product leader responsible for defining and building the digital experience from scratch. You own the vision, strategy, and execution of the customer-facing product. This is a true zero-to-one role. You ll make foundational decisions about product experience, technology approach, features that matter, and how customers engage. You ll report to the CEO and partner closely with our VP of Engineering to move fast and ship quality work, building a small, focused product team over time.
This is hands-on and high-impact. You ll be deep in the work: sketching flows, talking to customers, making product decisions, working through technical tradeoffs with engineering, and shipping features. You ll build digital experiences that feel fresh, intuitive, and compelling.
- Complete product vision and strategy for the new venture

- Design onboarding that immediately creates value and delight
- Build personalization and discovery experiences that feel magical
- Create engagement loops that keep customers coming back
- Obsess over every detail of the customer journey
- Partner closely with VP of Engineering to ship fast without sacrificing quality
- Make smart technical and product tradeoffs that balance speed and sustainability
- Build strong collaborative relationships across the organization
- Use data and customer feedback to iterate and improve rapidly
- Establish the right metrics and frameworks for a new business
- Move with urgency while maintaining high standards

Experience:
- 8+ years in product management with a track record of success in senior product leadership roles
- Direct experience building products from zero-to-one or in early-stage, high-growth environments
- Proven success launching and scaling consumer digital products in subscription, ecommerce, or marketplace businesses
- History of shipping products that gained meaningful customer traction and created business value
- Strong background leading product strategy roadmap development.
- Experience building and developing high-performing product teams
- Deep understanding of subscription and ecommerce product mechanics - what drives acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization
- Strong product intuition and ability to identify what customers want.
- Systems thinker who can design cohesive experiences across multiple touchpoints
- Skilled at balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints
- Experience using data to inform decisions without falling into analysis paralysis
- Strong instincts for UX, design quality, and product storytelling
