Institutional Partnerships Associates support the development and management of relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, endowments, family offices, and other large investors. The role combines market research, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to expand partnership opportunities and drive strategic growth.
These roles often involve close collaboration with senior relationship managers, investment teams, marketing, and operations to structure and execute partnership initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and support the execution of institutional partnership opportunities
Conduct research and analysis on prospective institutional clients, market trends, and competitive landscapes
Assist in developing partnership proposals, presentations, and joint business plans for institutional clients
Support relationship management and engagement with institutional investors and strategic partners
Collaborate with internal teams to implement partnership initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives
Track performance of partnerships, KPIs, and impact on institutional growth
Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership and internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities to optimize existing institutional partnerships and generate incremental value
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of institutional investing, capital markets, and partnership dynamics
Experience or coursework in business development, institutional client management, or relationship management (preferred but not required)
Analytical skills with strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools; familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
Strong interest in institutional client development, strategic partnerships, and financial markets
