** Responsibilities
* * The Office Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the VP to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the office. This role handles sensitive and confidential information, documents incoming complaints, coordinates organizational complaint tracking, and ensures the orderly distribution of assignments.
The Office Assistant maintains the case tracking system and investigations database, manages calendars, and oversees secure filing and record‑keeping practices. They create analyses of investigation progress, monitor key departmental priorities, prepare weekly caseload summaries, and generate monthly and annual reports of open cases.
This position supports all onboarding and offboarding processes for personnel and is responsible for drafting, formatting, and distributing accurate and professionally prepared correspondence.
Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries—whether in person, by phone, or via email, the Office Assistant ensures timely and thorough follow‑up to closure. The role may also participate in investigative interviews as needed.
The Office Assistant must uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all aspects of the work.
** Education and Experience
**** Associate Staff Analyst
** A Master’s degree from an accredited college with a major in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and ONE(1) year of satisfactory fulltime professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research;
in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, fiscal management or in a related field; ORA Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and THREE (3) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in 1 above.
