We’re working on behalf of a fast-growing Series A AI company building workflow automation software for financial services clients.
They are hiring their first Head of Sales to build and scale the revenue engine.
The OpportunityThis is a true player-coach mandate with full revenue ownership.
You will:- Own the company revenue number
- Personally lead complex enterprise deals
- Build forecasting rigor and pipeline discipline
- Define ICP, segmentation, pricing, and sales stages
- Hire and develop the first layer of AEs and sales managers
- Transition from founder-led selling to a repeatable, scalable motion
This is not a “manage an established org” role.
It is a build-the-engine role at an inflection point.
Ideal Background- Experience scaling a Series A company from ~$5-10M toward $30–50M ARR
- Strong forecasting and revenue planning discipline
- Experience hiring and developing early sales teams
- Comfort selling technical or infrastructure products
Experience in fintech, financial services, or complex operational software is strongly preferred.
What Success Looks Like (12–24 Months)- A documented and repeatable enterprise sales motion
- Reduced founder dependency on closing
- A team positioned to scale beyond $20M ARR
