Biopharmaceuticals Equity Research Senior Associate / Junior Vice President - New York City

Wolfe Research is seeking a Biopharmaceuticals Equity Research Senior Associate or Junior Vice President to join its team in NYC.

• Minimum 3 years of experience and familiarity with the biopharmaceutical sector (including prior roles in finance, the biopharma industry, or consulting with biopharma clients).
• Strong understanding and experience with financial concepts such as 3‑statement modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Creative thinker with strong problem‑solving skills; experience working with large data sets in Excel/Access and sourcing and processing information independently.
• Demonstrated ability to generate ideas, communicate effectively in a time‑sensitive environment, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain strong organizational and client‑service skills.
• Technical skills:
  Bloomberg and/or Fact Set helpful; advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
• Strong written communication, with concise, grammatically correct style.
• Comfortable working 10+ hour workdays and occasional weekends.
• Series 7, 63, 86 & 87 licensure preferred, or expected to be completed within 12 months of joining.

• BA/BS required, concentration in a scientific area relevant to the job.
• Minimum 3.5 GPA.
• MBA, CPA, Pharm
  
  D, or PhD in a relevant scientific area is a plus but not required.

Base salary range: $115,000–$175,000. Annual discretionary incentive bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays), and paid parental leave.
