Product Strategist Project Intern; Global Monetization Product and Technology MBA

The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business‑critical insights using analysis and financial modeling, ensures cross‑functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward.

As an intern on our Monetization Strategy team, you will have the opportunity to shape monetization efforts for Tik Tok by partnering with cross‑functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future.

• Support strategic initiatives for global markets through desk research, product analysis, and data interpretation
• Conduct competitive and market landscape analysis, and contribute to the development of product and go‑to‑market strategies
• Compile industry and thematic research reports with clear, data‑driven conclusions and recommendations
• Track industry trends, user behavior, and content ecosystems on a regular basis to identify emerging opportunities or risks
• Deliver research insights to inform product positioning, feature prioritization, and content strategy decisions

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months of internship period.

Minimum:

• Currently pursuing an MBA degree
• Solid understanding of basic industry research methodologies and strong logical thinking skills
• Highly self‑motivated, responsible, and passionate about internet products, with a strong sense of curiosity
• Strong data analysis skills

Preferred:

• Prior internship experience in internet strategy, investment, or related fields
• Experience working with a global team
• Proficiency in Thinkcell and data platforms such as App Annie, Quest Mobile, and Wind

Hourly rate: $40–$40. Interns have day‑one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. They also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 hours if hired in second half). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance. The company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
