Senior Associate, Marketplace Audience Strategy & Operations

About the Team

Door Dash is looking for an analytical and entrepreneurial operator to join our US Marketplace Growth team that is responsible for accelerating growth across new and underserved audience segments, most notably with college students and Gen Z. You will dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail, use AI tools to drive reporting efficiency, work with cross‑functional partners to report out and explain performance, and help manage a team of college ambassadors and leads who support our on‑the‑ground presence at colleges around the country.

The Senior Associate, Marketplace Audience Strategy & Operations role is for truth seekers who enjoy getting scrappy while also examining data, creatively problem‑solving on a daily basis, driving insights on business performance trends, using AI to drive efficiency, and working across a cross‑functional organization to bring strategies to life. You will directly support new audience penetration for Door Dash’s largest business unit.

On a typical day, you will dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail, think through how to solve blockers to performance at individual college campuses, work with cross‑functional teams to build reporting and performance updates for senior leadership, think up new ideas and translate them into an actionable test or new reporting mechanism, and drive the creation of strategic plans that drive execution throughout the business.

• Collaborate - Work cross‑functionally with teams across Door Dash to understand, report, and drive business performance
• Strategize - Support the creation of critical strategic plans that are a roadmap for execution throughout the year
• Analyze - Assess the performance of the USMP Marketplace to understand performance trends and drive actions based on learnings
• Optimize – Work with other Strategy and Planning teams to deliver new tooling that will make our reporting and planning processes more efficient
• Influence – Partner with many teams to make your ideas come to life

• You have 3+ years of work experience in strategy, operations, planning, or other related areas
• You're analytical – You enjoy getting deep into data and feel comfortable translating what you’re seeing into tangible insights. You use a variety of AI tools (e.g. Cursor) to improve analytics tooling
• You’re action‑oriented – You have a bias towards action, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are able to thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly changing work environment
• You’re creative – You love thinking about new problems, and don't resort to a "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
• You’re a collaborator and relationship builder – You are an excellent communicator and eager to build relationships with teammates and cross‑functional partners. You have an ability to lead with empathy while also holding cross‑functional partners accountable for key deliverables

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job‑related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market‑dependent and may be modified in the future.
