Job Description

The Business Development Coordinator supports the business development (BD) team with client and prospective client requests, event logistics coordination, and departmental system maintenance. This position works with members of the BD team to provide administrative business development support to attorneys in the designated practice groups. The Business Development Coordinator works under general supervision and relies on limited experience and guidelines to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities
  • Compile client and prospective client requested information and draft responses for requests for proposals (RFPs) and pitches, track results and prepare summary reports.
  • Track client information in the client relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collect and coordinate matter tracking information in the firm’s central matter tracking system.
  • Assist with event management and logistics, including supporting speaker outreach and coordination, program management, reporting, and various logistics.
  • Coordinate webinars, including coordinating with the marketing team to prepare invitations, compiling invite lists in CRM, securing CLE credit, liaising with lawyers on materials, and handling logistics for execution of the webinar.
  • Gather information and details for legal directory and league table submissions.
  • Create and update business development collateral, including brochures, one‑pagers, and presentations.
  • Draft entries for legal awards and nominations.
  • Prepare lists for targeting from our internal CRM and other external platforms for various events and initiatives.
  • Assist with various administrative and project management tasks.
  • Develop strong working relationships with practice attorneys and other members of the BD team.
  • Compile business and industry research in support of new business opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Familiarity with client relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Compensation and Benefits

Successful candidates will be provided with an outstanding total rewards package with the opportunity to earn performance‑based bonuses. The target hiring range is $79,000 – $99,000. Full‑time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee is required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk, and hear. Employee may need to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
