ADA (Artists & Distribution Alliance) is the independent distribution arm of Warner Music Group. Coordinators are key team members helping ADA achieve its mission through collaborative efforts across finance, legal, marketing, promotion, label management, corporate, and shared services teams.
Your roleThe Coordinator, ADA will be an integral member of the team, working closely within Content Acquisition, Business and Legal Affairs, Business Development, and Finance, and gaining exposure to various elements of a music company. The role includes special projects and a meaningful impact on the ADA business.
Responsibilities- Support external partners with WMG's external vendor setup and invoice submission process.
- Liaise between Finance and BLA teams on contract and deal status.
- Coordinate updates and maintain the real‑time status of ADA's deal pipeline and sales funnel.
- Draft initial legal documents for attorney review, including proposals and long‑form distribution agreements.
- Review agreements to prepare and circulate comprehensive deal summaries to teams, and input agreement data to various internal platforms.
- Interpret, advise and respond to questions regarding complex contractual provisions.
- Track, organize and upload documentation to proprietary server systems.
- Track end dates for label agreements for renewal and termination purposes.
- Support ADA executives with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Have 1–3 years of experience, preferably in Media & Entertainment.
- Enjoy working in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Have a proven record of problem‑solving and effective communication skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience working independently, managing competing priorities and problem solving.
- The ability to quickly grasp new concepts and take initiative.
- A passion for music.
- Interest in music business and/or entertainment law.
This position requires being in the office 4 days a week. Both hybrid and onsite work arrangements are available.
Salary Range$22.00 to $23.50 per hour.
