Director of Data Partnerships
Director of Data Partnerships will serve as a key lieutenant to the VP of Partnerships, turning high-level strategy into tangible, data-driven alliances.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strategic data partnerships with key players in the music and entertainment industries, consistently nurturing these relationships through regular communication and value-driven proposals.
- Lead business development initiatives to identify and secure new data integration opportunities that align with company objectives and enhance the organization’s market position.
- Negotiate complex partnership proposals, focusing on content licensing, metadata standards, and technical integration requirements.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape within the music and entertainment sectors to identify emerging partnership opportunities and potential data integration innovations.
- Present partnership progress, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on a monthly basis using data-driven insights and clear metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, legal, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation and management of data partnerships throughout their lifecycle.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish new connections and strengthen the organization’s presence in the music and entertainment ecosystem.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or related roles within the music and entertainment industries.
- Deep knowledge and contacts within the music industry and/or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining successful data partnerships with major industry players.
- Strong understanding of data integration processes, content licensing models, and metadata standards in media ecosystems.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing small teams to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and opportunities within the rapidly evolving entertainment landscape.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and partnership management tools.
Employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.

Salary range for candidates based in New York is $130k - $150k + bonus. Final base salary will be determined by experience and expertise.
