About the TeamTik Tok is building the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates, focusing on the luxury resale category. The Tik Tok Shop US Operations team is committed to delivering high‑quality products and a unique customer experience through Tik Tok.
Responsibilities- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive research on the global and local luxury resale market trends; monitor and analyze competitor movements on Tik Tok Shop and major social commerce platforms; perform deep‑dive operational analysis of top‑tier merchants (Head Sellers) to identify best practices in product assortment, pricing, and content strategy. - Merchant Operations & Strategic Planning:
Assist Operations Managers in developing data‑backed growth plans for key luxury merchants; support the end‑to‑end execution of Mega Live events, ensuring seamless coordination between merchants, creators, and platform resources; track performance metrics post‑campaign to evaluate ROI and provide recommendations for future scaling. - Data Synthesis & Reporting:
Consolidate complex datasets into structured reports and presentations for internal stakeholders; identify emerging “hot items” and consumer behavior shifts within the luxury segment to guide category optimization.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- Proven skills in Excel/Google Sheets with the ability to derive narrative insights from data.
- Strong interest in e‑commerce and the creator economy.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills; comfortable working with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated learning ability, execution ability, stress resistance, coordination, resource integration, and project management capability.
- Internship or full‑time experience in an e‑commerce business preferred; solid understanding of the industry landscape.
- Interest in luxury resale, fashion, handbags, watches, jewelry, collectibles, or related categories preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience in business analysis or operational reporting preferred.
Hourly rate: $25–$25.
Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 if hired in the second half). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance.
