Business Development Manager

We are partnering with a global law firm with 20 office locations in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and the Middle East on a Business Development Manager role that will support the firm’s Restructuring and Capital Markets practices in New York. The firm is open to considering candidates in Boston and Washington, DC for this hybrid role.

The BD Manager will be responsible for planning, supporting and implementing a broad array of business development activities to help expand the firm’s business and reputation. This individual will advise lawyers on effective client pitch strategies, conduct research and analysis, create compelling proposals and pitch materials, manage strategic events and sponsor ships, and complete lawyer directed business development initiatives.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of five years of law firm marketing & BD experience. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success as are collegial, collaborative and team player attributes.
