Job Description
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Business Analyst to join our Change Management team located in New York. The Business Analyst - Regulatory Change Management will support the development of new Regulatory reporting processes and improvements to existing ones.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Regulatory reporting process owners to understand the tools, business and rule requirements set by Regulators.
- Collaborate with Lines of Business and Data owners to elicit requirements and prepare Business Requirement Documents.
- Develop Functional specifications defining data requirements and Business Rules to assist the IT department in building systems that meet Regulatory Reporting needs.
- Devise the Testing Strategy, define the Test Plan and review Testing artifacts with all stakeholders.
- Work with internal business partners to properly test, train and implement new or improved processes, often leading these efforts.
- Perform financial data analysis for different regulatory reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or a related field.
- 8‑12 years of total work experience in Business Analysis, with a preference for Data Analysis.
- Experience with Nasdaq Axiom Configuration (5 years in Web version).
- Experience with Axiom implementation for US Reporting packages such as CCAR (14M,Q), Y9C, Basel/101, etc.
- Experience implementing custom reporting solutions in Axiom.
- Background as a Business/Functional Analyst in Financial Services.
- Experience with large transactional and reference datasets.
- Expertise in eliciting Requirements from user groups and preparing Business and Functional Requirements artifacts.
- Knowledge of North America Regulatory Reports and processes (CCAR, Call Reports, Y9C, Basel, etc.).
- Hands‑on SQL experience for complex data analysis.
- Understanding of User Acceptance Testing and building testing strategy/test plans.
- Experience with external reporting and/or internal audit preferred.
- Experience with Python or Big Data technologies preferred.
The base salary for this position is expected to range between $83,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
