Product Manager II, Barron’s – New York, NY
About the Role- Work cross‑functionally to define and prioritize business and editorial requirements for new products and enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders to establish a go‑to‑market strategy for new products.
- Collaborate and partner to optimize and grow Barron’s subscriber offerings and imagine new premium offerings.
- Write product requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria for features, tasks and bugs using JIRA.
- Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback that informs new product development.
- Work closely with software engineers and user experience architects and designers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and measure OKRs.
- Collaborate with other product managers within Dow Jones to roll out shared capabilities.
- Partner with editors to ensure they have content publishing capabilities and tools they need.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, align roadmaps, set timeline expectations and coordinate launches.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning sessions and retrospective meetings.
- 4–7 years of product management experience.
- Experience developing and launching digital subscription products, preferably for paid content.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about digital media and investing.
- Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Parsely and Google Analytics.
- Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research and leveraging that to inform product requirements.
- Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps targeted at consumers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
- Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.
- Highly strategic as well as detail‑oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

CompensationBase Pay Range: $130,000 – $150,000 per year.
