Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and overseas Centric Brands teams to ensure the vision and objectives are understood and executed prior to new season for the development of new trends (Style, fabric, washing, trims…etc.)
- Work with design and product teams to source fabrics that match design specifications (fiber type, weight, stretch, finish, etc.).
- Partner with suppliers to identify cost‑effective alternatives, including optimizing yarn types, fabric structures, and finishing processes.
- Ensure SMS is developing by right vendor for workable price range, good performance from previous season.
- Responsible for communication with overseas vendors to follow up on sourcing, costing and ensure factories meet the company standards.
- Leverage raw materials within and across divisions by communicating with team members to ensure we are aligned.
- Lead cross‑functional weekly team meetings on development status and approval status to ensure deliverables are met for calendar.
- Maintain a solid vendor base and establish good relationships to support the business.
- Ensure meeting company margin set goal.
- Analyze detailed cost breakdowns to identify savings opportunities and recommend sourcing alternatives aligned with target cost objectives.
- Drive cost optimization without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Maintain margin reports.
- Demonstrate knowledge of SAP, PLM, and IBT applications.
- Clear understanding of the customer compliance requirements such as testing, packing including labels, tickets, and AQL.
- Qualify and onboard new vendors in close collaboration with the compliance team.
- Attend merchandising meetings in collaboration with sales and design team as required.
- Raise questions when foreseeing potential problems and develop actions to solve them.
- Proactive, resourceful and responsible.
- Strong textile knowledge (fiber types, knitting methods, finishes).
- Highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Thorough understanding of fashion apparel retail merchandising.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit and specifications.

- Strong negotiation skills.
- Establishment of relationship building skills with buyers, agents and factories.
- Strong math skills.
- Proficient with Excel.
- 5+ years of experience in overseas product development/sourcing (apparel).
